“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” - Psalm 119.105
Someone has well said,

5.30pm Sunday Evening
7.00pm Wednesday Evening
“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” - Psalm 119.105
Someone has well said,
“Ye are the light of the world.”
Matthew 5.14
Sometimes it’s hard to see it clearly – but it’s still true! This is a simple, straight-forward statement made by the Lord Jesus Christ.
Jesus is speaking to the disciples, the apostles who would become the first church of the New Testament (Matthew 16.18, 2 Corinthians 12.28). Jesus is simply saying, “Ye are the light of the world.” And it was a statement, not a question.
“And whosoever of you will be the chiefest,
shall be servant of all. ”
Mark 10.44
I’m not sure who said it, but this quote is very good: “How do you know if you are a servant? By how you react when someone treats you as one”
I remember a few times I didn’t like the way someone was treating me! They were probably treating me like “some sort of servant”.
“And they will deceive every one his neighbour,
and will not speak the truth:
they have taught their tongue to speak lies,
and weary themselves to commit iniquity.” - Jeremiah 9.5
One of the greatest gifts we have by being born again Christians is... the Truth!
