In the Spirit

“I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day…” - Revelation 1.10

The above verse is from “The Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ”, and though the Apostle John was exiled on an isolated island, he could still say, “I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet, Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last”.

May we always plan, pray and look forward to being in the Spirit on the Lord’s day.  To hear the Lord speaking to us!  To hear whatever He might say to us!  To hear Him… tell us… that He is the Alpha and Omega – He is the first and the last and whatever HE has for us is so good!

On the Lord’s day, in the Lord’s house, with the Lord’s people, singing the Lord’s songs, ready to hear the Lord’s Word… how very blessed we are!
