“Hear my prayer, O LORD”

Psalm 143.1

Here are five words – a prayer to God!  Sometimes I am praying just a short prayer like this!  “Hear my prayer, O LORD” and it helps the rest of my prayers.  It reminds me of how important it is to just get started, and pray“if ye seek him, he will be found of you” 2 Chronicles 15:2

“Hear my prayer, O LORD, give ear to my supplications: in thy faithfulness answer me, and in thy righteousness.” Psalms 143:1

We can pray to the Lord, and He will hear us!  Consider Psalm 143.1-11, and some good things to pray for:

“Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning;”

“Lord, wake me up, literally, mentally and spiritually, and help me to have a daily Bible reading and thinking, and prayer time with You.”

“cause me to know the way wherein I should walk…”

“Lord, help me to accept and understand Your point/purpose for my life.”

“Deliver me, O LORD, from mine enemies: I flee unto thee to hide me.”

“Lord, I’m asking for Your help with the difficult people in my life.”

“Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God:”

“Help me to know and do what You want me to do.”

“lead me into the land of uprightness.”

“Lord, as You lead me – I will follow You!”

“Quicken me, O LORD, for thy name's sake:”  “Help me to be alive/living as Jesus would want – He is my resurrection and my life!  So that I can bless Your name!”

“Hear my prayer, O LORD”

“Hear…”

“my prayer…”

“O LORD”!
