“…wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be righteous?”

God

Job 40:8

Of course I will!

I will say that it is Your fault God when things don’t go MY WAY!

I will disagree with Your decisions, and I will try to ignore the things that You have decided to do in MY LIFE because it’s NOT FAIR and I don’t think what You have done suits my life!!!

“Wilt thou also disannul my judgment? wilt thou condemn me, that thou mayest be righteous?” Job 40:8

Yes, I will, and yes, I do…

And… I am… so sorry.

I am so very sorry Lord.

I’m sorry when I decide that Your decisions (judgments) aren’t good enough for me.  When I wanted something that I thought would be better somehow…  And that’s the truth Lord.  I’m sorry.

Help me to know better than to … condemn You!

Shame on me!

How can anything be better for me - other than what You have chosen for me?

It cannot.

I’m sorry and I repent.  Help me to stick to what I know is best: Whatever you decide for me will always be best, because you are always right (righteous).

By faith I ask, please forgive me like you forgave Job, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

How often are we like Job?  But God is faithful to forgive when we come to Him in true repentance.
